THE BRIEF

Lonely Planet commissioned us to produce a video showcasing British Columbia for their Best in Travel 2026 campaign, showcasing BC as one of the world's top destinations for the year.

SHOWCASING BEAUTIFUL BRITISH COLUMBIA for Lonely Planet

We handled comprehensive pre-production — securing filming locations, coordinating appearance releases, and building a detailed itinerary optimized for lighting conditions across Vancouver and surrounding areas. We collaborated with the on-camera talent and Lonely Planet's editorial team to incorporate indigenous cultural elements, ensuring the content authentically represented BC's diverse heritage alongside its natural beauty.

Over three days of principal photography (two days with talent, one dedicated b-roll day), we captured an epic slice-of-life journey featuring kayaking in Deep Cove, Stanley Park exploration, Granville Island's public market, Lynn Canyon's suspension bridge, and local favourites like Honey's Doughnuts and Cypress Mountain.

The project delivered a comprehensive content library for Lonely Planet's global audience, including video footage and 20 edited images. The campaign successfully positioned British Columbia as a premier travel destination, providing versatile multi-platform assets that showcase BC's unique blend of outdoor adventure, cultural experiences, and urban destinations.
